Two things separate a badminton shirt from an ordinary sports top. The first is fabric: Yonex court shirts are built to move sweat off the skin and dry between rallies, where cotton absorbs it and gets heavier as the session goes on - which in Malaysian humidity is the difference between comfortable at rally sixty and not. The second is cut. These are shaped for full overhead extension, so the hem stays where it should through a smash rather than riding up.
